Recap Cashless Payment integration at Singapore International Jazz Festival

Drawn to what is being seen increasingly as a global hub of art and culture, Singapore’s SING JAZZ 2016 featured some of the biggest names in world jazz as well as emerging talents – international, regional and, of course, Singaporean. Although a ‘jazz festival’ at its core, SING JAZZ 2016 embraces the capricious, ‘restless’ nature of jazz and its influence across other genres of music. As such, the Festival should appeal to music lovers of all kinds and of all generations.

There is an important social and development element to SING JAZZ, in that proceeds from the Festival will go towards supporting the Foundation for Arts and Social Enterprise in providing funding to help nurture and promote nascent local jazz talent through a Jazz Academy. Such artists will, in turn, be expected to help nurture the younger generation of musicians in a creative ‘circle of help’.

PlayPass was there to implement our cashless payment solution. The festival took 3 days and  + 8000 visitors were able to visit three bars or one of the four restaurants and were able to pay with their NFC card.
